Narrative
An author returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot to find inspiration for his next book, only to find the townspeople under attack by a bloodthirsty vampire. This is proof of the king’s work
Sundown Written and performed by Gordon Lightfoot Warner Music Group Film & Television license. First, I have to say that even if the Stephen King adaptation is weak, at least it’s still watchable. Fortunately, this movie is a King movie. That being said, it is very mediocre.
But all the transmission aspects of the story are omitted
I was very excited at the beginning of the film, I liked everything, there was a tense atmosphere, I felt very royal. Very quickly we reach the place where people have disappeared from the city. It happens so fast that the others only "know" Because vampires. They seem to know who the main vampire is right away and it makes no sense.
Also without gross
I’ve seen some incredibly bad horror movies in my life, and this one isn’t bad, it’s just too fast. In a vampire movie. Shame, if this was a mini series with 8/10 episodes it would be good. The elements are there.
The cast is here
Admittedly sticking to the source material shows that the creators had an understanding of what they were working with. Looking for something else to add to your watch list? Find out what movies and TV shows are streaming this month.
