The correct answers to the external assessment test tasks will be announced on June 26
Minister of Education and Science Sergei Shkarlet urged Ukrainian politicians not to politicize the situation regarding the introduction of a separate test in the Ukrainian language in the list of subjects for external evaluation.
Sergei Shkarlet wrote about this in his Telegram, noting that the decision to introduce a separate external evaluation test in the Ukrainian language was made in 2019.
"Some forgotten politicians again and again continue to shake the information space by manipulating the abolition of the mandatory comprehensive external evaluation in the Ukrainian language and literature. I would like to remind you that the decision on the possibility to choose which external examination to take – in the Ukrainian language and literature or only in the Ukrainian language – was made in 2019 by Minister L. Grinevich, ”said Shkarlet.
According to him, now the Ministry of Education and Science has only implemented this norm in the Conditions of Admission to Higher Education Institutions for 2021.
“Applicants will be able to make an informed choice: either to pass the obligatory external examination in the Ukrainian language and literature (those who will enroll in the humanities) or to pass the obligatory external examination in the Ukrainian language (for technical specialties). I ask politicians who say that someone seems to want to delete Ukrainian literature from the curriculum and thus "bury" the love for everything Ukrainian, stop politicizing the situation and earn "political points" on speculating in the interests of children! ", – said Sergei Shkarlet.
He also encouraged all students to study all subjects carefully and make a choice according to their vocation.
