A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams. Getting permission to shoot the lavish dance sequence on London’s Regent Street took a year and a half, as the British royal family owns the property. Two nights before the shoot was scheduled, after a full week of rehearsals, Queen Elizabeth II died and filming had to be postponed. Everyone had to be paid anyway, including shop owners and staff, and production insurance did not cover losses due to the death of a monarch. The producers had to raise additional funds to shoot the sequence, which was filmed five months later. Robbie Williams is not, in fact, a chimpanzee.
