Men and women live in a giant underground silo, where they are subject to numerous regulations that they believe protect them from the toxic and ruined world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopia, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book Wool — the book has 82 chapters. The fans on the floor in various episodes spin in the wrong direction when it comes to the orientation of the blades.

When I randomly scrolled through IMDb and found SILO, I was immediately intrigued. I see some mixed reviews and I can relate to some of them, here is my review of the first season.
It’s not an adaptation in the sense that it follows the plot
The dystopian genre offers a unique psychological perspective on human nature in hypothetical scenarios. My fondness for the trilogy was strengthened because Hughes managed to expand Orwellian ideas into hypothetical scenarios relevant to the modern world. Imagining the development of the human psyche in dystopian scenarios is a difficult task. I think Hughes did a great job, SILO captures most of these aspects in a refreshing way.
The acting is phenomenal with the most central characters
It is based on the books, but of course it has to adapt to the audience in a rapidly changing world. Nevertheless, the show manages to capture the atmosphere of a society living in a silo. Unlike the shallow storytelling of other shows, SILO has a great combination of character development and focus on atmosphere. The only problem I have with this show is the lack of atmosphere development.
Naturally, it has to reach the audience
A lot of screen time is spent chasing and catching Juliette. They lack the development of a silo atmosphere as a society. Try it!
