Fourth grader writes essay about WFAA meteorologist Colleen Coyle

first we’re gonna start with this you know Colleen Coyle is really good people and she knows how to keep a secret because you had to do that that you surprised a superfan yes I did and oh my gosh Jason I love surprises but North Texas I had to share this story with you I want to show you how this started and Jason it was all because of a tweet a teacher at Rogers elementary school in Frisco Carter sent me this this was one of her fourth-grade students and she asked me how many retweets for you to respond to this sweet girls essay that she wrote and they were asked to write about someone they wanted to meet and she chose me and I didn’t even know what to say I was just so surprised and just wow really melted my heart and so I was reading her essay and at the bottom she just said that was a dream of hers so guess what Jason you did it I wanted to make dreams come true so we surprised her this morning this is Kylee North Texas say hello to Kylee she is a budding meteorologist and she was reading her essay in front of the fourth grade and I jumped out from behind that curtain and man Jason if you could have seen her face a total surprise the school was in on it her parents were in on it all of her classmates were in on it so thank you so much Kylie for your sweet essay you really reminded me to smile she said she always says we smile on the news a lot and I said hey you know what the fourth grade is watching so thank you so much Kylie for just those sweet words it really meant a lot and then of course Jason I couldn’t leave without doing a whether mind so we talked about weather and weather safety and so Kylie brought weather minds to her fourth grade class thank you so much Rogers elementary for welcoming channel 8 into your home and also just helping us with this big surprise and hey you know what a tweet that’s all it takes that’s all it had to start with oh and a nice tweet which is a nice thing no oh it’s a nice tweet so thank you so much and Kylie just thank you so much for making my year you really you really made it with your sweet essay
